The Department of Science and Technology extends its greeting to the organizers and participants of the 18th National Congress, 10th IE Research Conference, and the Philippines Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) on their 25th year anniversary.

The conference provides a platform for industry leaders, researchers, and experts to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss challenges and opportunities in this rapidly evolving landscape. By networking and engaging with peers, we expect attendees to gain insights and learn from real-world case studies that demonstrate the power of digital and AI transformations in industrial engineering.

As the central agency for the direction, leadership, and coordination of scientific and technological efforts in the Philippines, this year’s celebration is a clear testament that Filipino engineers and thought leaders are and will be active contributors to this transformative age of digitalization and AI. This gathering of researchers, academia and professionals highlights the exigency of embracing digitalization and AI in industrial engineering.
