IECB Secretariat is now accepting applications for the 11^th CIE Examination that will be held on March 22, 2020.

Deadline for submission of applications is on March 07, 2020.

                           Cebu  ( University of San Jose – Recoletos)

                           Davao ( Ateneo de Davao)

1. Requirements:

• Application Form for PIIE Membership ( Downloadable )
• Application Form for CIE ( Downloadable )
• Transcript of Records (TOR) ( Photocopy )
• Diploma (Photocopy )
• NSO Birth Certificate ( Photocopy )
• Resume
• 2 pcs. 2x2 colored photo with white background, preferably in formal attire

2. Applicable Fees:

PIIE Membership valid only for 1 year

• Fresh Graduate – Php 500.00
• Academe – Php 1,000.00
• Industry – Php 1,500.00

CIE Examination Fee – Php 2,000.00 non refundable

3. Dress Code – Office or professional attire.

         5. Dress code is smart casual and decent. Slippers, short pants, sando and spaghetti/short sleeves are not recommended. Bring sweater  as temperature in the testing room is low (air conditioned).

         6. Lunch break is only one hour. Examinees are advised to bring their own lunch/ “baon”.

         7. Examinees that happen to be ill on the day of the exam are advised not to take the examination. In this case, please inform the IECBSecretariat.

ONLY ONE CALCULATOR WILL BE ALLOWED FOR USE AT ANY TIME DURING THE EXAM.  SPARE CALCULATORS SHOULD BE KEPT INSIDE THE EXAMINEE’S BAG.  SHOULD THERE BE A NEED TO USE ANOTHER CALCULATOR, THE EXAMINEE SHOULD FIRST SECURE THE PROCTOR’S APPROVAL.

CALCULATORS WILL BE CHECKED BY PROCTORS DURING THE EXAM.  ANYONE FOUND USING A CALCULATOR NOT IN THE APPROVED LIST WILL IMMEDIATELY BE SENT OUT OF THE EXAMINATION ROOM.

Convergence: Creating ergonomic breakthroughs thru partnerships

     New technologies developed solved many problems but created new ones. In this information-driven and consumption-driven world, the field of ergonomics is pushed to contribute to issues such as sustainability, data revolution, and health promotion among others. These issues can effectively be addressed through effective partnerships of ergonomists with people from other disciplines. Innovative technologies flourish because of the unique contribution of each team member at each stage of the problem-solving process.

     The Joint Congress of the Asian Council of Ergonomics and Design and the Southeast Asian Network of Ergonomics Societies brings together researchers and practitioners from all over the world to talk discuss relevant work in the area of human factors and ergonomics.
