The results are officially in! The Industrial Engineering Certification Board (IECB), in coordination with the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE), has released the list of successful examinees for the 16th Certified Industrial Engineer (CIE) Examination.

Held on April 26, 2026, the examination utilized an online platform administered by the Center for Educational Measurement, Inc. (CEM). This digital approach continues to bridge the gap for aspiring professionals across the archipelago, ensuring a rigorous yet accessible certification process.

New Horizons and Global Recognition

Passing the CIE exam is more than just a personal milestone; it is a gateway to international professional standing. The 242 new passers are now:

• Authorized to use the “CIE” nominal after their names.

• Eligible to apply for the Associate ASEAN Engineer (AAE) title through the Philippine Technological Council (PTC).

The PTC serves as the umbrella organization for 13 professional engineering associations and is the sole body administering the ASEAN Engineer Registry in the Philippines. This puts our new CIEs on the map for regional mobility and global competitiveness.
