Founded in April 1998, Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) is a non-stock, non-profit organization. It envisions being the recognized national organization and the focal point of all Industrial Engineering Agenda concerning the academe and industry.
PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERS
PIIE is the primary exponent of OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE in the industry and academe. It will actively engage in activities to expand and increase the organization’s recognition on this commitment.
Through this efforts, it is envisioned that PIIE will be able to enhance the country’s competitiveness. It is also PIIE’s commitment to actively participate and advocate the initiatives relevant to the efficient and effective utilization of the country’s resources as weak as promote to its constituents/institutions the dedication to quality, cost-effective mind set, systems thinking, logistical competence and value supremacy.
It is also an integral part of PIIE is the recognition of outstanding firms that advocate “Operational Excellence”, students who excel in their IE studies and other related categories that may amplify the practice of Industrial Engineering.
